Overview
GH903 is a kind of high temperature alloy. Its basic components include nickel, iron and cobalt, which are strengthened by precipitation of titanium, niobium and aluminum. The alloy has a low thermal expansion coefficient and an almost constant elastic modulus over a wide temperature range. GH903 alloy has high strength, good thermal fatigue performance, excellent welding performance and high pressure hydrogen embrittlement resistance. It is suitable for manufacturing turbine casing, sealing ring and other components of aviation and aerospace engines working below 650 °C. It is one of the important materials to realize engine clearance control technology. The main products provided by the alloy include bars and ring parts.

In various industrial applications in acidic media, especially in acid containing halides, GH903 is far superior to other non-bulging steels, and in some cases can be comparable to soft magnetic alloys and titanium.
GH903 cobalt-based alloy also has good carburization resistance in other chemical media, as well as high temperature tensile and rust resistance media, including sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, acid gas, seawater, salt and organic acid.
